Terms of Use and Copyright Policy for GTI Apps

General Information

The WordPress plugins, themes, and digital applications found on the GTI Apps platform are made available under the General Public License (GPL). These products may be freely distributed as per the GPL. If you choose to redistribute any material obtained from GTI Apps, we kindly request that you credit GTI Apps as the source, enabling others to access further information or updated versions.

Copyright Infringement Notification

If you believe that content hosted on the GTI Apps website infringes on copyright laws, you may notify us with a formal request. Please include the following information in your notification:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted material that you claim has been infringed.
  2. Sufficient information to locate the allegedly infringing content on our platform.
  3. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  4. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

Legal Notice and Process

Under Section 512(f) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), any individual who knowingly misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages. Additionally, copyright owners are required to consider whether the material in question constitutes "fair use" under copyright law before filing a takedown notice.

GTI Apps reserves the right to:

  • Independently review the material identified in any copyright claim.
  • Determine whether the material is indeed infringing or permissible under applicable copyright law.

In the event that content is removed as a result of a DMCA notice:

  • A copy of the notice, including the details of the complaint, may be forwarded to the individual who provided the allegedly infringing material.
  • A redacted version of the notice (excluding personal information) may also be sent to third-party organizations for non-commercial research and educational purposes.
